After graduation, I went to Alfred State College in Alfred, NY and earned my A.A. in Liberal Arts then transferred to Nazareth College in Rochester, NY and earned my B.S. in Mathematics. After college, I coached basketball at Brighton HS in Rochester for a few years while I worked a few part-time jobs and then moved back to Smethport and got my teaching certification at Pitt-Bradford and St. Bonaventure. I also coached basketball, student-taught, subbed, and taught two long-term sub positions at good ol' Hubber High. I worked for the 2000 Census in State College as a member of the management staff for about a year and a half. When that was over, I moved to the Washington, DC area where I took some classes in Baltimore for certification as a Certified Internet Webmaster and also worked for a while in Visual Display at Bloomingdale's in Tyson's Corner.

In January of 2002 I took another long-term sub position at SHS and decided to get back into teaching on a more permanent basis. Since there were not many jobs in the area, I moved to the Baltimore, MD area in June of 2003. I teach at Long Reach High School in Columbia, MD.

I still play basketball 1-2 times a week and have worked at summer camps at Penn State, the University of Tennessee, and Stanford, as well as many smaller camps in upstate New York. I love to golf and spend a lot of time in Smethport during my summer vacation, golfing and catching up with friends. I love to travel and have been to London, Key West, Cape Cod, Nashville, New York City, San Francisco, Monterey Bay, and all over Florida. I am also lucky to be able to spend time with friends in nearby Rehoboth Beach and Ocean City as well as the Outer Banks and Myrtle Beach.
