I spent 8 years in the Navy as an Air Traffic Controller. I was stationed in Naval Station Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico and Naval Air Warfare Center, Patuxent, MD. When my second enlistment was up, I continued controlling aircraft at Martha's Vineyard, MA and NASA Wallops Island, VA and spend the last 9 years in Salisbury, MD. In March of 2008, I figured that I had been in one place for too long and packed up for the next adventure. I am currently an Air Traffic Controller at Naval Air Station, Patuxent River (formerly Naval Air Warfare Center) as a Department of Defense civilian. Life has taken me back to the Navy as I feared it would. 18 years to retirement if I can make it.

I live with my wife, Mary, and son Lucas and our two yellow labs, Petey and Bingo. I still get back to the PA mountains every summer and hope to make it more often over the coming years.
