Amy Cogan Nicholson-Gould

Submitted: 3/14/05

I graduated from Lock Haven University in 1990 with a B.S. in Biology/Ecology/Environmental Science. While at Lock Haven I played soccer for the first women's soccer team the school sponsored.

Shortly after graduation I moved to Island Falls, ME where I worked for the U.S.D.A. Forest Service. While in Maine I met my husband of 10 years, Robert Nicholson-Gould. In 1995 we moved back to Pennsylvania where I worked for the Allegheny National Forest in the Silviculture Department. In October of 1996 our daughter Katie was born in Bradford Hospital.

In February of 1998 we loaded up the truck and moved to El Dorado, Arkansas for Rob's work. While there I worked as a Veterinary Technician. In 1999, our second child, Robbie was born.

Once again, in 2002, we packed up the family and moved to Norwood, NC. I have not worked since the last move, but have returned to college-this time for Radiology (though I am contemplating just being a professional student). I also coach 3 soccer teams-both of our kid's teams, and the South Stanly High School Lady Rebels.
