After graduation I earned my B.S. in Business Administration (Marketing) from Clarion University. I then returned to Smethport for a few years. In 1997, I moved to Charlotte, NC where I began working for the American Red Cross. I am currently still at the American Red Cross and absolutely love it. It is so rewarding to know you are helping people every day. It makes you stop and remember how lucky you are.
Six years ago, I met my husband, Jim, who is from Pittsburgh, PA. We bought a house in Concord, NC. We have a son, Carson James, who is three and a daughter, Samantha Jo, who is 3 months old. Four years ago my husband and I started a plumbing company, Jim Meyers Plumbing, that is doing great. I have a wonderful life here in the south. I often miss Smethport and the people but definitely do not miss the snow and cold!!
