My name is Launie "Kris" Hansen. I was active in band, track, as well as North Branch and Indian Creek (if the old crew knows what I mean) haha. I graduated from ITT Technical Institute with an Associates Degree in Electronic Technolgy. I went on to find a career that I enjoyed. That was tough. I was an architectural millwork engineer for a large manufacturing company of high-end custom millwork for large corporate offices. I didn't much like that, so I tried to use my degree as an electrocnic repair tech for a communications company ... hated that as well. I moved to Charleston, SC. and fell in love with the history, the beach, and of course my career. I am now a residential home designer and a member of the American Institute of Building Design. I completed my 1 year course in Classical Architecture by the Institute of Classical Architecture & Classical America. I mainly design and modify new construction houses for beach front and estate homes in excess of 3,000 sq. ft. under my new business PK3 Designs. I have my own home outside of Charleston which I shared with my loving wife, Pier-Marie, and my two boys, Kyle the terror (2), Kaleb the sports fanatic (6), and Pete my 75-lb. boxer. Unfortunately, on November 11, 2006, my wife Pier-Marie was killed in an automobile accident. She was born on August 31, 1978. She will always be loved.

It is amazing how I thought things would be then, and how much different things are now. I have realized that we never stop growing up. We just evolve and adapt over the years, while always learning something new every day. Enjoy each and every day as if it was the last.
