The 1962 Hubber Track team finished with a successful season. In dual meet competition, they won five meets and lost but one. The high point men for the Hubbers were:

In the District 9 Track Meet held in our own McCoy Stadium, the Hubbers finished 3rd with 33 points. Johnsonburg and St. Mary's tied for 1st with 39 points each. A feature of the District 9 Meet was that Thomas Mays, our fine pole vaulter, broke the District 9 Record with a vault of 11' 10 ¼". The previous record was held by Donald Rhoads of Clarion-Limestone. By finishing either 1st or 2nd in the District Meet, William Boswick, Daniel Elliot, Thomas Mays, and Irving Brown won the opportunity to compete in the Pennsylvania State Meet at State College, PA.
