George Burton was inducted into the Pennsylvania Special Olympics Hall of Fame on May 6th, 2004. He and two others joined a group of 35 athletes and volunteers who have been inducted since 1996. George became the first McKean County athlete to be inducted. Over the past 17 years, George has won numerous medals and trophies. He has traveled throughout the U.S. and participated in the World Games twice. George lives in Cyclone and works at the Bradford Wal-Mart.
