The 1954 Hubber Track season turned out to be the most successful in the school's history, by winning 10 straight meets and finishing the season undefeated. Although only a Class B school, the Hubber trackmen beat all of the best Class A schools in northwestern Pennsylvania and southwestern New York state.
The Hubbers finished the season with their fourth straight District 9 P.I.A.A. Class B Championship, the McKean County Championship for the first time in recent history, and were the first team to beat a strong Warren High School team in 20 meets covering a three-year period.
D. Petruzzi tied the School Record in the 100 Yard Dash.
